Bbot Menu Resources (CSV)
In this article, you will learn how to create your Bbot Menus. We understand that your establishment may have several different menus (i.e. Lunch, Dinner, Brunch, Happy Hour, etc.) and our platform makes it easy for you to manage them all!
First, you will want to login to your Bbot Owner Panel. If you don't know how to login, please visit our Logging in to the Owner Panel page.
Now that you're logged in, it's important to first understand the layout of the "Home" page of the Owner Panel and how you use this to control the guest-facing menu that your customers will order from. Please visit our Owner Panel Home Page article to familiarize yourself.
Now that you have a thorough understanding of the Bbot Owner Panel “Home” page, it’s time to learn how to build a CSV menu from scratch. Visit our Bbot CSV Menus article to learn more. Once your CSV menu is built in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, you’re ready to import it! Visit our Importing/Exporting a CSV Menu article to learn how to do this.
Once you have imported all of your menus, visit your ".menu" page to make sure everything looks like it should. You may want to rearrange the order of your menu headings, menu items, or modifiers as they appear to your guests. Please visit our Menu Headings page.
Each unique menu that you create operates independently of your other menus, and can be set to be active at different times. For example, you may want to set your “Lunch” Menu to 11AM-3PM and “Dinner” Menu to 5PM-10PM. Follow the steps outlined in our Setting Menu Timers article to do this. If you are having issues with this, you can visit the Menu Not Showing at Certain Locations article for troubleshooting instructions.
If you want to enable guests to view menus outside of their available time windows to order ahead, visit our Setting up 'Order Ahead' Menus article.
In the Bbot Owner Panel, you have the ability to edit the "Off Hours" message that displays when you're offline. Visit our Menu is Off Hours article for more information on how to set this up.
To make sure that your orders are sending to the correct locations (i.e. drinks to the bar and food to the kitchen), use the following link to familiarize yourself with how to set various menu items to send to the appropriate Fulfillment Stations.
Now that your menu is up and running and your menu timers have been set, you’ll need to be able to 86 menu items during service. For more information on this function, visit our 86ing Items from the Tablet article.
