Editing Locations - Checkout

Follow these instructions to navigate in the Bbot Owner Panel to edit your locations.

Guest Checkout Information

  • Guest Checkout Information: This allows you to add and edit the information that you would like guests to fill out when they go to check out and whether you would like the information to be required. Please read How to Add/Edit Guest Checkout Information InformationNote: all locations that have delivery as their fulfillment method will need to have a 'Delivery Address'  required

Miscellaneous Checkout Settings

TIP AND TAX

  • Forced Tip: This feature allows you to set a forced Gratuity/Tip. The 'Force Tip Name' dialog box allows you to customize the label that the guest will be presented with on the checkout page. The 'Forced Tip Percentage' dialog box allows you to set the percentage of the 'Forced Tip'. This feature will remove the guest's ability to create or add a custom tip. 
  • Minimum Pretax Purchase: This will allow you to set a minimum pre-tax purchase amount at the selected location code(s).
  • Maximum Pretax Purchase: This will allow you to set a maximum pre-tax purchase amount at the selected location code(s). 
  • Minimum Cart Total: This setting allows you to set a minimum total purchase amount at the selected location code(s). This setting will not account for delivery fees and discounts

TABS

  • Allow Tabs: This allows you to enable/disable 'Tabs' to be used at the selected location code(s).
  • Tabs On By Default:  Select if you would like to have the 'Start a tab' option on your checkout page toggled on/off by default.

PROMOTION CODES

  • Promotional Code Label: This setting allows you to control how the 'Promo Code' is labeled at checkout for the selected location code(s). Examples: Room Number, Coupon Code, etc.

Allowed Ordering Window Schedule

This feature provides you with the ability to set the times and dates that orders can be placed at a specific location code. The 'Ordering Window Schedule' will not override the Menu Availability Times. Guests will still be allowed to place future orders for periods outside these windows. If you want to control when future ordering windows, see the 'Allow Pickup/Delivery Window' Settings below.

Allow Pickup/Delivery Window

This feature provides you with the ability to set the times and dates that a specific location code can have Pickup or Delivery orders placed. The 'Pickup/Delivery Window' will not override the Menu Availability Times. Changes to this setting will also affect future ordering windows and will be reflected on the checkout page when a guest chooses what day and time they want to place their order.
