Editing Locations - Ordering Window Schedule
This feature provides you with the ability to set the times and dates that orders can be placed at a specific location code. This feature will only work if Ordering is enabled for the selected location code(s). The menus available to this location code are still constrained by its Menu Availability Times.
If a menu needs to be exclusively available to this location code, you can create a duplicate menu with different Menu Availability Times; be sure to change the name of the duplicate menu to prevent future errors.
Patrons will be allowed to place orders during 'Allowed Ordering Window Schedule' times, but the times when those orders can be fulfilled for pickup or delivery will be controlled by the 'Allow Pickup/Delivery Window'.
- Set a weekly schedule: You can type in the boxes under the day names (where the default 12 AM-12 AM time is). To add to the schedule for a particular day, you can simply add a comma and add another time segment. For example, “8 AM - 4 PM, 6 PM - 11 PM”. This currently does not support overlap into the next day, which means if you want a location to be open from 9 pm one night to 2 am the following day, You’ll have to do “9 PM - 12 AM” on one day and “12 AM - 2 AM” on the following day.
- Show week view: This allows you to access the visual editor. From there, you can click and drag time blocks in 30-minute segments. Blue means available and white means unavailable.
- Restrict Ordering to Specific Dates: This allows you to set which date ranges your guests will be able to order from this location code. You will also be able to place a note for each set of dates.
- Restrict Ordering to Exclude Specific Dates: This allows you to set which date range your guests will not be able to place an order from this location code. You will also be able to place a note for each set of dates. Notes are internal and not visible to guests.
You can use the 'Show week view' button to show the expanded week view.
Allow Pickup/Delivery Window
This feature provides you with the ability to set the times and dates that a specific location code can have Pickup or Delivery orders placed. The 'Pickup/Delivery Window' will not override the Menu Availability Times. Changes to this setting will also affect future ordering windows and will be reflected on the checkout page when guests choose what day and time they want to place their order.
