Using Gift Cards In Bbot
You can now accept gift cards through our gift card integrations using one of our gift card integrations in the Bbot Owner Panel.
Prior to connecting the integration in Bbot you will need to set up an account with your preferred gift card provider. Once the account is set up you will need to reach out to either Bbot Support or your Account Manager to provide them with the below specified information provided by the gift card servicer in order for them to get your account properly configured.
- Fiserv: Merchant ID, Store ID(s)
- Valutec: Merchant ID, Terminal ID (Store ID), Client Key
- eCard Systems: Merchant ID, Store ID, User Name, Password
- Paytronix: Merchant ID, Wallet Code, Store Code(s)
Once the gift card integration is connected, your guests will have the option to pay using a gift card by clicking 'Add Gift Card' on the checkout screen.
In the dropdown menu, the guest can enter the gift card number and the pin, if needed, and click 'Save' to add the gift card.
If there are no funds on the card, the guest will receive an error message advising the card balance is $0.00.
Once the gift card has been added, the guest can place their order, and the gift card balance will be updated to reflect their previous orders.
Orders placed using gift cards will be found in the Transaction Details Report and will list the total used on the gift card and the gift card vendor under the 'Card Details' column.
