Connecting The Deliverect Integration
Deliverect is an all-in-one solution for restaurants and other businesses that sell food online. The integration connects your online sales channels with your existing POS or ERP system, sending all your digital orders (delivery, take-out, in-house dining apps) directly to your POS or ERP.
To connect the Deliverect integration, log into the Owner Portal and then click on the 'Bbot App Store' under the 'Integrations' heading.
In the Bbot App Store, enter Deliverect into the search bar and click the 'Connect Deliverect' button.
In the pop-up menu, enter the Deliverect Channel ID and the Deliverect Location ID into the appropriate fields. To find the Channel Link ID, log into your Deliverect dashboard and click on 'Locations' on the left-hand side of the screen. The Channel Link ID will be on the right-hand side of the screen, as shown in the box below.
To find the Location ID, click the 'Edit' button under 'Locations'. The Location ID will be in the box labeled 'Order Status Webhook URL', which you can copy and paste into the Deliverect integration settings in the Bbot App Store.
In the field 'External Location ID', the Bbot Customer ID, which will need to be added by a Bbot Admin, will need to be entered. To get the Customer ID, please contact our Support Team at support@bbot.menu where they will .
Additionally, the Channel Status Webhook needs to be filled in with the URL https://bbot.menu/api/webhook/deliverect/channelStatus.
After entering the information, click 'Save' and 'Register'. When this is done, all of the other webhooks should auto-populate. In addition, this will also connect the Deliverect integration to Bbot if it has not been connected already.
*Note*: All of the steps above must be completed before pushing a menu from Deliverect to Bbot.
Once you've entered the Channel and Location ID, you will need to select the settings for the Deliverect integration.
- Integration Type: Currently, only 'Bbot as Ordering Site' is available to use in the integration. When this is selected, guests will be able to place an order through Bbot which will then get injected into the Deliverect platform.
- Tax Type: This is configured on the item level in Deliverect. Currently, you can only select one of the three options, either Eat In, Delivery, or Takeaway in the Bbot configuration settings. To set the tax, click on 'Menu' in Deliverect and then on the item you'd like to configure the tax for.
-
Automatically mark orders Accepted by Staff in Bbot, once they're injected into Deliverect: When enabled, this setting will mark Bbot orders as 'Accepted by Staff', once the order has been successfully injected into Deliverect.
-
-
Display Bbot checkout info on Deliverect ticket: Bbot will inject checkout information, such as special instructions, guest information, and allergy info, into Deliverect.
After configuring the integration settings in Deliverect, you will need to push the menu from Deliverect to Bbot. To push the menus to Bbot, click on the Menus settings and then click 'Publish Menus'.
You will need to select which locations to publish the menus for by clicking the circle next to each location where you'd like to publish the menu. Once you've selected the location, click 'Publish Menus'.
Any changes or updates made to a menu must be published in Deliverect as there is no way to sync the menu in Bbot manually. After the menu is published in Deliverect, it will automatically update the menu in Bbot.
If you want to check whether the menu sync was successful, however, you can click the 'Check Deliverect Menu Sync Status' button under the Menu Settings.
In the case you need to refund an order, this will need to be done separately on both the POS and Bbot. Deliverect cannot adjust the order once it's been placed and ingested in their platform. For example, if you use Aloha/Deliverect/Bbot, you'll need to void the item(s) in Aloha, and then adjust the order in Bbot.
