QR Codes and Location Codes
QR is a matrix barcode that can be programmed to take a guest to a specific URL. For instance, the QR code below has been programmed to take you to https://www.meetbbot.com/ when scanned with a phone camera.
Note: Once a QR code has been programmed with a specific URL, it can not be reprogrammed; a new QR code must be created.
QR Codes can direct your guests to your company's landing page, where guests navigate to specific location codes by using the buttons and dropdown menus.
For instance, the QR code below will take you directly to the Doordash Kitchens landing page, where guests can click "Order For Pickup" which will take them to the location code used for pick-up orders at this location.
Or you can have your QR code take you to a specific Location Code that represents a table number, room number, pickup location, delivery menu, or catering menu.
For instance, the below QR code will take you directly to the menu page for the Pickup location code for the Refinery in New York https://parkerandquinn.menu/bppickup. Note: the location code itself is added to the end of the URL with a backslash (/bppickup)
