Multi Factor Authentication (MFA)

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is now configurable on the Bbot Owner Panel.

Setting Up MFA

To set this up, click the 'Set up multi-factor authentication' link at the button of the Owner Portal login page.

You'll then be prompted to enter your username and password. Once entered, select 'Get QR Code.'

A QR code will be generated on the next screen. Using the Google Authenticator app or another authenticator app on your phone, scan the QR code shown and enter the 6 digit code that is produced. Once entered, select 'Enter'

The QR code in the above image has been blocked out for security purposes.

Once you successfully enter the correct 6 digit code and select 'Enter,' you will be brought to your Owner Portal Dashboard.

After setting up MFA, you will be prompted to enter the 6 digit code generated by your authenticator app at each login. If you accidentally delete the information from your authenticator app and you need to receive a new QR code, simply select 'Forgot MFA Device?'

This will automatically send a new QR code to your account email address. Once you receive the email, scan the new QR code, return to the login page, and input the new 6 digit code.

Deactivating MFA

Bbot employees with Owner permission have the option of deactivating the MFA on their account if desired. To do so, navigate to the Employees page of the Owner Portal and edit the employee in question. Select the 'Deactivate MFA' option in the top right corner.
