Samsung Tab A Tablet FAQ

Galaxy Tab A 10.1" 32GB Black (Wi-Fi). A low price tablet for running the Bbot terminal. WiFi only. Typically recommended when using Bbot for pickup or delivery and when there is strong reliable WiFi available. When Bbot is the primary system for in-venue ordering, Elo tablets which support ethernet are recommended instead for maximum reliability.

Q. How do I connect my Samsung tablet to the internet? 

Samsung tablets are connected to the internet via WiFi.  You will automatically be promoted to connect to an available network when powered on.

Q. I just got my device and it is asking me for a password! What should I type in?

The password to your device is '123456789'

**Please note: This must be set before tablet is set to Kiosk mode by Bbot.  You will need to reach out to a Bbot team member for help if you're already in Kiosk mode and locked out from settings.

Q. How do I adjust the volume on my Samsung Tablet?

Hold the volume up or volume down buttons on the right-hand-side of the tablet.

Q. How can I restart or reboot my Samsung Tablet?

Press and hold the Power and Volume down key for up to 45 seconds to force a restart.

Q. Why does my Samsung tablet's screen keep locking?

When plugged into a power source, your tablet will not screen lock.  It's best to remain connected to a power source.  If your tablet has not yet been set in Kiosk mode, you can adjust your screen lock settings by going to Settings -> Lock Screen -> Secure Lock Settings -> Lock Automatically.
