Toast BOGO Promo Setup
1. Create Bbot Bogo Promo In Toast.
- Open up the Discounts and Promo Code section in the Toast Management Portal and create a new promo code. The name of the Discount must start with the word "Bbot". Once you have named the discount set the type to 'Open $ Off'. Then set the discount to apply to 'Any Item'.
2. Select Discount to Use for BOGO Discount in Bbot
- Navigate to the Toast integration tile in the Bbot App Store and click 'Edit' on the Toast integration tile.
- Scroll down to the bottom and select the promo code that you want to use for BOGO discounts. You will only be able to select discounts that are configured like step one of this article
3. Select the Items That You Want to Include in the BOGO Discount
- Navigate to the Manu Editor in the Bbot Owner Panel
- Navigate to the 'Tag' Section of the Menu Editor
- Create a "BOGO' tag and be sure to mark the tag to 'Show To Guests'.
Navigate to 'Menu Items' in the Menu Editor
- Select the items that you want to add the BOGO discount and add the 'BOGO' tag to the items

4. Verify That the Selected Items Have the 'Buy 1 Get 1' Icon Showing on the Menu Page
- Go to your ordering page and check the items for the 'Buy 1 Get 1' Icon. Note: these icons will only show on the mobile version of the menu page, You will not be able to see it from the desktop veiw
If you want separate BOGO deals, such as BOGO margaritas and BOGO tacos, create separate tags and tag the items appropriately.
