Setting Up A Revel Discount Code for Bbot

To add a Promo code or Discount in Bbot You will first need to create a Discount in Revel that the Bbot Discount to connect to.

1. You will need to navigate to the Discount section under Products.
2. Under the Stander Discounts section, click the "Add New Discount" button.
3. Begin then need to enter the Discount Details
   1. Name: We recommend that the name contains the word "Bbot" so that the discount can be properly tracked in your reports.
   2. Discount Function: Set to Standard
   3. Discount Type: The type must be set to Amount, even if you intend to use a percentage-based discount in Bbot. Bbot will apply the discount and inject the discount as a dollar amount in Revel
   4. Variable Discount: this setting will need to be checked for all Bbot Discounts.
   5. Barcode: A Barcode Name must be entered for all Bbot Discounts, we recommend that the Barcode Name is the same as the Discount Name
   6. Active: Check this box so that Bbot will be able to use the discount
   7. Display On IPad (Optional): This check box will determine if the discount will be displayed on the IPad
   8. All other configurations should remain blan
4. Save the Discount in Revel.

When you Create A Bbot Discount, you will now be able to select which Revel Discount it will be attached to in the Participating Vendors Selection.
