Tip Settings

Tip Settings allows you to configure the gratuity settings guests see when checking out for an order. To adjust your gratuity settings, log into the Bbot Owner Panel and select ‘Tip Settings' under the ‘Restaurant Setup’ header.

Tip Percentages: Guests can select from three options or if you have 'Show No Tip' turned on, choose not to leave a tip. You can set the amount for each of these and choose which one will be preselected for guests by clicking ‘Default’ next to the desired percentage. While the default tip percentage will be preselected for the guest at checkout, they can select any other option or select ‘Other’ and enter their custom tip amount.

Fulfillment methods: In this same section, you will need to choose which fulfillment method(s) you’d like your tip percentages to apply to. *Only fulfillment methods selected here will allow tipping; those not selected will not offer guests tip percentage options nor the option to enter a custom tip!

Tip Calculation

• Include Discounts: This calculates the tip after any promos or discounts are applied.
• Include Fees: This allows for the tip to be based on the order total and any service charges that have been added.
• Include Taxes: This allows for the tip to be based on the order total and any applicable taxes.

Click the ‘Save Tip Percentages’ button at the bottom of the section to save your settings.
