Connecting Your Thanx Integration

Thanx Software is a CRM and digital engagement platform for restaurants as well as offering loyalty rewards for customers. By using Thanx, restaurants looking to maximize digital revenue and engage top customers are able to provide better guest experiences.

To connect Thanx to your Bbot account, navigate to your Bbot Owner Panel and select ‘Bbot App Store’ under 'Integrations'.

Use the drop-down menu to select 'Reservations, Rewards, & More' or use the search bar to find the Thanx Integration Tile.

Once you Locate the Thanx Integration Tile click 'Connect Thanx'.

You will then need to fill in your Client ID, Client Secret, and your Merchant ID, all of which will be provided by Thanx, will be used to communicate with the Thanx API. Once you've entered your information in the fields below, click 'Enter' to complete the integration.

Guest Flow For Thanx

On the Checkout page, the guest will see 'Login for Rewards' and a text field to enter their email address on the checkout page. The guest will need to enter their email address in the space provided. Once they've entered their email address the guest will need to click 'Login For Rewards'.

If they do not have an existing Thanx account, they will be asked to 'Sign Up for Rewards' and will need to enter their email address, first and last name, and date of birth.

The guest will then be sent an email to the address they provided and will then need to log in to their account by clicking the link in the email.

Once they've logged into their account, they will need to navigate back to Bbot ordering page and click the ‘I clicked the link in the email’ button. If the guest does so before they follow the steps in the email, they’ll be prompted with an error message stating they didn’t click the link.

After clicking the button, the checkout page will be updated with any available rewards to apply towards their order. The guest must then click ‘Apply’ to use the available rewards.

The Reward will show up under subtotal with ‘Reward Redemption’ on the left-hand side and the discount amount on the right under the subtotal.  Note: the tip and tax will be adjusted after the reward is applied.

When placing orders through the terminal, guests can follow the same process above to signup and redeem their available rewards through Thanx.
